Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa Review

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is one of the most luxurious and iconic resorts in the world. Located at the very heart of Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, the Grand Floridian Resort offers an unforgettable experience. From the moment you enter the grounds, you are immediately surrounded by the grandiosity of the resort. The architecture and décor of the resort is inspired by the Victorian era and it is truly a sight to behold.

The resort features a variety of accommodations, from standard rooms to luxurious suites. All of the rooms are spacious and decorated with beautiful furnishings. The resort also offers a wide range of amenities, including a full-service spa, a heated pool, a fitness center, and a variety of restaurants and lounges. If your heart desires, you can even get married here (they have a wedding chapel).

The Grand Floridian Resort is also home to some of the best dining experiences in the entire Walt Disney World. With a wide selection of restaurants and lounges, there is something to satisfy everyone’s taste buds. Whether you’re looking for a quick bite or a gourmet meal, you’ll find it here. In fact, Mommy Lamb’s favorite restaurant is located here- Narcoossee’s (a mouthful name, isn’t it?). If you have several hundreds to spare (no kidding) and you don’t need to bring a kid, you can dine at Victoria & Albert’s. To show how expensive it is, here is the price: Although subject to change, the prix-fixe menu begins at $ 295.00 per Guest. Optional wine pairings start at $150.00 per Guest. Zero-proof pairings start at $110.00 per Guest. Prices are subject to change and do not include tax or gratuity. The age requirement is ten and up. So, sorry, Little Lamb cannot come.

The Grand Floridian Resort also offers a variety of activities and attractions to keep guests entertained. From the nightly fireworks show to the live music performances, there is something for everyone. Guests can also take advantage of the resort’s shopping and entertainment offerings, including a movie theater and arcade.

For our family, we have a mixed feelings about Grand Floridian Resort. It is fancy but too busy at times. Because monorail does go through here, they get a lot of tourists coming to admire, shop, and eat here. Riviera is just as luxurious but peaceful and quiet. However, we have not once but twice got really, really good goodies from the leaders at the Grand Floridian Resort. I have to cover it in another post because it has left us with such a strong impression and goodwill that we will never forget.

Overall, Disney World’s Grand Floridian Resort is a truly luxurious and unforgettable experience. With its grand architecture, spacious accommodations, and wide range of amenities, it is the perfect place to stay for a magical vacation. Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway or a family vacation, the Grand Floridian Resort is sure to exceed your expectations.
